We ended up with a great balance of great cost and services that met our needs. Rob was equally great during the contracting process since we wanted a few updates to their standard contract. Rob then lined up Kev the DJ and Kev was fantastic! We had a couple of meetings to work out the music we wanted Kev to play, and he provided really good suggestions on how best to organize the music. On the day of the wedding Kev joined us at our hotel before the wedding for a quick rehearsal of the ceremony. At the wedding Kev brought incredible energy as the MC and kept the music flowing perfectly as the DJ. Kev was so great sometimes I was hanging out with him. Suffice it to say that we highly recommend Second Song as your first choice to DJ your wedding or another event!”

“I’m SO satisfied with our experience booking with George Street! I was drawn to them because I thought they were more reasonably priced compared to what some individual photographers are charging these days (we’re in the Seattle market), but I didn’t feel like the price advantage came at a sacrifice of quality. I loved the photos our photographer John C. took (who was AMAZING!) for both our engagement/portrait session and of course the photos on the day of the wedding. He did a fantastic job capturing all the beautiful memories we made that day, and we are so grateful. The booking process was really simple, too—I arranged a meeting with one of their sales reps (Amber) who did an excellent job explaining exactly how their company works, the packages available, how to choose your photographer and so on. Once we booked with them, we were given access to an online portal to put in all the necessary info that would be passed along to the photographer. One thing I would say is that because you are contracting with a company and not the individual photographer, you aren’t able to communicate directly with the photographer very often. You really are hiring them for photography only, so collaborating with them on the event timeline and other details is not really an option. Any questions you have generally need to be sent via the wedding coordinators at George Street, as you won’t even receive your photographer’s email or phone number until you actually meet them (it’s possible this is not the case for everyone, but just our experience). To be clear, this was NOT an issue for us at all, but just something to be aware of if a more hands-on photographer that can help with coordination and planning is really what you’re looking for.”

“Your experience with Mostest will highly depend on your assigned planner. Fortunately Mostest allows you to request a switch if it’s not a fit. I was originally paired with a coordinator who was not as proactive/did not project confidence and ability to guide. Mostest was super accommodating with getting me reassigned, replacing my original planner with Lanise within a day of me contacting them. Everything was smooth sailing from there on out! If you’re in Houston I highly recommend Lanise as a month-of coordinator! She consistently went above and beyond leading up to and on the day of my wedding. She is professional, organized, confident, and creative. I am a very Type A person, so it was important to me to have someone I could really trust with the details. Lanise sent detailed recaps with action items after each of our weekly meetings, was available over text when I had questions, smoothly handled vendor communications and even some family coordination for speeches, conducted venue visits, and did an AMAZING job decorating and keeping things moving on the day of. I came in with a pretty detailed vision and provided mockups of my table settings and special decor, but Lanise truly understood the assignment and executed it with such care and precision. I was blown away when I walked into the venue. She did not miss a detail! She was also just a fun and reliable presence throughout the night and even took what ended up being some of our favorite photos for us on her phone. Highly recommend!!!”

“We absolutely loved working with The Hook Club. Our amazing planner, Greenhouse Events, recommended THC, and we were sold immediately after meeting with Dan. He is super relaxed, nice, and so knowledgable. Dan and THC team made planning super easy for us. They took time to hear about our hopes and helped recommend different band sizes for us. We hadn’t heard of a DJ band before, but loved the idea of some live music with the versatility to play all sorts of music, but our venue wasn’t very big and we also didn’t want to break the bank and hire a huge band. We chose the 4 piece DJ band with singer, sax, drums, and DJ. We knew we LOVED the sax, so we also had the sax play for cocktail hour (shout out to Elijah, who was amazing), and it was one of the best parts of the night. For planning music, they sent out a very detailed and thorough spreadsheet with more songs than one could imagine, and we could rate ones we liked the most, choose ones we definitely wanted or didn't, and choose specific songs for important moments. We met a couple times to review music choices as well. One of our biggest fears with a DJ was that they'd talk too much and be a little annoying, but Dan did a great job as MC, and was very low-key like we asked but announced important moments clearly. Dan and all the musicians had such great energy and got everyone on the dance floor. Our vocalist, Christen, was also amazing — her voice was spectacular, and she was such an amazing performer and got everyone involved in the music and dancing. So many people told us how much they loved the music and the energy, and had never heard of a DJ band but thought it was an amazing concept and the addition of live music over tracks added extra excitement and fun. THC also helped out with lighting (uplights and dance lights), and worked with our fantastic planner and the venue to help us decide the best setup. Ultimately, we loved working with THC. Their DJ-band setup is unique and adds so much variety to your music while allowing for some of the energy that comes from live performers. We danced the night away and had an absolute blast. 100% would recommend THC to anyone!”

Chef Julio and Ignacio were super sweet and professional, they really care about their clients.   We had the menu testing, in Miami, and we loved it. The reception was in Pompano Beach. After the tasting, we placed the deposit and locked the date.   The food tasting was amazing! The Vacio meat with chimichurri sauce is a MUST! Chef Julio gave us even the recipe. They know their food and how to make it perfect. Also, they are reasonnably priced.   They also provide the bartender and server staff as well. They were very friendly and accommodating. Ignacio and his team kept asking throughout the whole night if there was anything they could do or get fo us. They arrived a few hours early to set up. I'm so happy with them. Thank you for a delicious meal and drinks at our wedding!”

“I did a lot of research to find a wedding photographer. I do a lot of research for everything, but I felt like it was especially important because if I’m paying so much for a wedding, I want all of the details chronicled beautifully so those memories can last forever. It was really important for me that the pictures looked super natural and not overly editted as if I was right back in the moment when I looked at them. Ivory Grove let me look at several of their photographers’ portfolios since I was worried they might have different styles. They were all very similar and beautiful, but I did like Erika’s the most and they set me up with her. Erika took our engagement photos and our wedding photos and she did a PHENOMENAL job. She got every angle of every moment, and a lot of my guests mentioned how impressed they were that she was getting on the ground for some shots, setting up lighting, and orchestrating everyone to make sure I got all the photos I requested. Ivory Grove finished editing the photos she took in only 2 weeks, and the album they sent has sooo many photos in it. I should have known because I got a lot of engagement photos back as well, but I was just blown away by the amount of gorgeous photos they gave me. It’s also so easy for me to download them onto my phone or computer. The investment was well worth it, but also they were more affordable than a lot of other photographers I’d looked into! After letting him know our top priority was making it a party and ensuring our guests had fun, he kept the dance floor packed all reception. Our booking coordinator, Wes Echols, was also great to communicate with. He always had very quick responses, provided us with a comprehensive and thoughtful questionnaire for the ceremony and reception, and was overall very helpful. We could not recommend Ace Wedding DJs more!!”

“Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”
